Carbon Dioxide Capture, Storage and Fate Assessment: On-Site vs. Off-Site Technologies and Processes

Carbon Capture and Storage offers oil and gas producing regions with a solution to curb their GHG emissions and enhance production. Carbon Sense Solutions Inc. and Golder Ecofys Solutions Ltd. have been contracted by the Province of Alberta to assess the technical feasibility and effects of deploying CCS. Carbon Sense Solutions Inc. is leading the CO2 storage assessment of the study.

CO2 Accelerated Concrete Curing Technology Commercialization

In certain industrial applications carbon dioxide can actually be used as a valuable feedstock. Carbon Sense Solutions Inc. has discovered and is developing a greenhouse gas mitigation technology, which consumes CO2 to manufacture more durable precast concrete products in far less time. The proof of concept phase was completed in 2006. Two industrial pilot plant trials will commence in 2008.

Hazardous Chemical Information Management System

The Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI) contracted Carbon Sense Solutions Inc. to collaborate with their technical and research staff to design, implement and maintain an online information management system. Using carbon management related techniques, the project featured on site data collection, an online reporting infrastructure as well as effective validation and verification protocols.
